Missing mother, 1-month-old son found with serious injuries in Connecticut

Update: The infant has died from the injuries he sustained, according to state police.

A woman and her 1-month-old son who were reported missing from Washington, Connecticut, were found with serious injuries, police said.

A Silver Alert was issued for 27-year-old Sadie Fleming, who was last seen leaving her home on foot with her infant son, Hudson, according to state police.

Sadie and Hudson were found in the area of Brinsmade Road in Washington Sunday night.

Fleming and her son had been missing since early Sunday morning. The Silver Alert has since been canceled.

Troopers said the scene is active, fluid and ongoing.
